We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Intern/Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or current student seeking hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative engineering company. The role has the potential for future full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers with design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems
- Collaborate with team members to optimize designs for cost, performance, and manufacturability
- Conduct research and analysis on materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, and documentation
- Support engineering team with general administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong academic record and/or relevant experience in mechanical design and analysis
- Proficient in CAD software (Creo Parametric preferred)
- Familiarity with simulation software (ANSYS preferred)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and motivated self-starter with the ability to learn quickly
